The Body & Symptoms

When treating any symptom you must use a whole body approach and get to the root cause of the problem to actually heal. Once good nutrition is in place and the gut is healed then you can use target herbal remedies for specific systems and symptoms. Do not discount the power emotions and the spirit have on the physical body, they play a large role in the root cause of symptoms.

All conditions exist in the body because of some kind of imbalance that can be caused from a variety of factors including; improper diet, hormones, negative thoughts, feelings and emotions, environmental toxins and in some cases from God, to allow us opportunities to learn and grow, sometimes for ourselves and sometimes for others. Our bodies were created to know exactly what to do in order to heal.  Herbs, essential oils, food, and other natural remedies merely support and aid the body with the healing process.  Our bodies truly are amazing creations! You can learn more about the body and nutrition by going through the Self-Reliance in Health Course, which has been incorporated into this website and through the section below on Nutrition and The Body.

Symptoms List

I keep a symptoms journal to collect all the food, herbs, recipes, life style practices and therapies for specific symptoms, that can help bring balance after nutrition and gut health have been addressed. Each body is different so what may work for one person may not be the thing for another, which is why there are so many ways to work towards balance!

This is my running list that I'd love to share with you. It is a living journal that continues to grow and expand as I find and use different methods of healing. Here is my template if you'd like to use it to start your own journal.
