Immune Booster Tea
I like to make a batch of this soothing and tasty tea during the cold and flu season, when I feel off in any way or for a nourishing and delicious beverage. The herbs in the this blend are nutritive, immune enhancing, blood building and support, while antimicrobial for fighting off pathogens.

I keep a jar of this mix ready to go for a quick loose leaf tea. You can also use it to make an extract or herbal capsules.
Herbs
1 part elderberries
1 part hibiscus flowers
1 part nettles
1 part rosehips
¼ part ginger root
Mix all the herbs together and keep stored in a container.
I make a quart of tea at a time, adding raw honey to taste and sip it throughout the day. Sipping on tea over an extended period of time is the best way to incorporate the medicinal properties into your system.
In the summer refrigerate for a refreshing drink or freeze in popsicle molds for a power packed popsicle!
